Lahore: According to an official advertisement, the Punjab Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department has cautioned property tax evaders to pay their taxes before the end of the day to avoid difficulties and surcharges.

Excise and Taxation department offices are anticipated to stay open late on the last day of the fiscal year (30 June 2021) to collect taxes and satisfy targets, according to sources.

The E&T department has warned tax evaders that if they do not pay their property taxes, they would be subject to one or more of the following penalties:

• Unforgivable fees if payment is not received by the due date

• Tax evaders are apprehended

• Property is auctioned or attached
