Rawalpindi: The district government has decided to build an education complex on two kanals of land in Madressah Millia Satellite Town. The district government had planned to build the education complex on the grounds of Government Denny’s High School in the past, but the idea was shelved owing to litigation.

The provincial government has budgeted Rs100 million for the education facility, where all of the District Education Authority’s offices would be relocated, as part of its 2018-19 annual development programme.

For the current fiscal year, Rs20 million has been set up for the complex’s initial construction. The government has requested the construction department to prepare PC-I and present it to the planning and development department for final approval after selecting the new site.
