Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the committee to expedite work on digitalizing the cadastral mapping of Lahore so that it may be finished as soon as feasible. Land digitization, according to the premier, will deter land grabbers and encroachment while also assisting the general public.
The federal government started a project of digital mapping of the country’s major metropolises in the first phase of the programme, and an official inauguration of Islamabad Castradal was conducted on Wednesday.
According to him, the objective of the initiative is to digitise all important city residential and state land. During the launching ceremony, the premier claimed that the project will boost the property’s inland income output. Similarly, the premier was informed about the Ministry of Housing and Works’ various housing projects that are presently being finished. According to estimates, the government is spending PKR 463 billion on 86,323 housing units.
