Peshawar: According to news reports, the administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) decided on Tuesday to participate in the Dubai International Expo in order to attract foreign investment and enhance the province’s favourable image.

Mahmood Khan, the Chief Minister, presided over a meeting to evaluate the preparations and plans for the Dubai Expo. The meeting’s guests were briefed on the arrangements, scheduled activities, and other aspects of the Dubai Expo.

In his remarks during the meeting, CM Khan remarked that the Dubai Expo is a fantastic opportunity to attract international investment, and he directed the relevant agencies to highlight initiatives that are likely to attract investment.

A conference on the Swat Expressway, Buner Expressway, Dir Motorway, and Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan (D.I. Khan) Motorway will be conducted on January 2, 2022, according to the attendees. On the 6th and 7th of January, the Special Economic Zones Investment Conference will be conducted. The proposed Draban Special Economic Zone, Rashakai Special Economic Zone, Chitral Economic Zone, and Ghazi Economic Zone will be discussed at the meeting.

On the 10th and 11th of January, the Mines and Minerals Investment Conference will be place, with gemstones on display. A symposium on tourism, culture, and archaeology will be place on January 14 and 15, with a focus on Integrated Tourism Zones. It was also reported that another exhibition will be held on January 23 to showcase the Billion Tree Tsunami project’s activities.
