Peshawar: According to a recent news report, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mr. Mahmood Khan has agreed with the proposal of establishing an integrated tourism zone in the Orakzai district and has also guided the tourism department to collaborate with the concerned district administration to develop a comprehensive plan for the creation of integrated tourism zones in all combined districts.

The chief minister, who presided over a meeting of the provincial task force on merged districts here, also directed the concerned quarters to take concrete measures for the inclusion of the provincial task force’s development schemes in the next Accelerated Implementation Program (AIP) or Annual Development Program (ADP).
He instructed the concerned authorities to complete the process of creating new posts for educational institutions and health facilities in the Orakzai district as soon as possible, stating that all vacant positions in the district administration should be filled as soon as possible.

The task force meeting was convened to assess the overall security situation, growth and reform programs, and the expansion of provincial departments into the newly-merged Orakzai district.
It was stated that recruitment against 370 vacant positions of constables in merged areas had been started while criteria for the appointment of female police officials were relaxed for the Orakzai district.
