Mansehra: According to news reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan lay the foundation stone for several uplift projects during a one-day visit to Mansehra on Saturday (November 7).

The following projects were kicked off by the CM:
- 12-kilometre long Nawaz Abad- Mandi Road, at the total cost of PKR 762 million
- 20-kilometre long Mandi-Mali Road, to be completed at the cost of PKR 1.24 billion.
- 26-kilometre long Siron Right Bank Canal will cost PKR 2.8 billion
- 9-kilometre long Kotli Lower-Chattar Plain Road, at the cost of PKR 150 million
- 17-kilometre long Mansehra-Uter Sheesha Road will cost PKR 207 million
- Construction of a playground at Baffa, at the cost of PKR 17 million

While speaking to the public, CM Khan stated that farmers receive relief through the Kisan Card, and meritorious kids will receive free education through the Education Card. Several development projects worth PKR 42 billion are now underway in the district, according to the minister. He went on to remark that the current government is building high-quality, low-cost highways to improve the province’s transportation infrastructure.
