Charsadda: During his one-day visit to the district of Charsadda on Friday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan inaugurated the Hockey Turf at Sport Stadium and the expansion of Rajjar Takht Bhai Road.

Hockey Turf was installed at a cost of Rs. 8.1 million over the course of a year. The 14-kilometer-long Rajjar Takht Bhai Road will be widened and rehabilitated at a cost of Rs1.49 billion by June 2022. Meanwhile, the chief minister attended a public meeting at Wali Baagh Charsadda, where prominent politician Ameer Zaib Khan proclaimed his intention to join Pakistan Tehreek Insaf.

Speaking to the crowd, Mahmood Khan said that work on a number of development schemes worth Rs. 25 billion was underway in the district of Charsadda, and that more developmental projects worth Rs 1. billion each in all of the district’s constituencies would be launched very soon, adding that the revamping of the District Headquarter Hospital Charsadda would also be initiated to increase its capacity and provide better health care to the people at the local level.
