Mansehra: According to news reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan visited Torghar district on Thursday (October 28) to inaugurate development projects worth PKR 270 million.

While speaking to the public at Judbah, CM Khan announced PKR 300 for other uplift projects in the district to ensure that rural and urban areas are equally developed. According to reports, the CM lay the foundation stone for the Shagai-Kalish and Gorya-Danda Japeet highways, which cost PKR 90 million each.
During his visit, the chief minister also dedicated a PKR 120 million micro-hydropower project to provide electricity to the Madakhel area. He also lay the foundation for the Rescue 1122 building, which will cost PKR 60 million.

According to him, emergency services would be extended to other districts in the near future. Fareed Salahuddin and Mufti Obaidullah, MPAs Fareed Salahuddin and Mufti Obaidullah, MNA Saleh Mohammad, and Special Assistant to Chief Minister Ahmad Hussain Shah also spoke.
