Karachi: According to media sources, the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) started an anti-encroachment campaign in the East district’s neighbouring regions of Jamshed Road and MA Jinnah Road.
The effort was carried out near the showrooms in the region, according to KMC Senior Director Anti-Encroachment Bashir Siddiqui. The automobiles from showrooms that had been exhibited on the sidewalks and roadways had been removed, according to reports. Because of numerous automobiles, traffic congestion was a regular concern in the region. The operation was also attended by KMC Deputy Director Amin Lakhani, Sindh Police, and local Traffic Police.

Aside from it, other forms of invasion were eliminated as well. Illegally constructed iron grills and several walls were demolished during the operation. Furthermore, the firm cleared encroachment from many city rain drains. Operations were carried out near Gujjar Nullah in the Central District. The operation was place in four separate areas of the Orangi Nullah in Orangi Town.
