Rawalpindi: Shehryar Khan Afridi, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, informed local businessmen on Friday that he would support the establishment of special economic zones (SEZs) along the Rawalpindi Ring Road.

Following the easing of business limitations imposed by Covid, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Chaudhry Nadeem Rauf said the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) held a food festival to boost commercial operations.
He stated that the coronavirus epidemic had harmed the hotel and restaurant industries, but that trade activities had been restored following limitations, which was a promising omen for businesses.

RCCI said it would go to great lengths to make it a business and family event, and that it would provide an opportunity for traders to gain visibility and showcase their goods and services to potential clients.
Sheikh Rashid Shafique, a PTI MNA, also visited the stalls during the culinary fair. On the occasion of the present three-day food festival at Ayub Park, a musical evening has been organised for the amusement of families.
