Karachi: According to a news source, the Manora Cantonment Board successfully auctioned off Manora Beach Resort to a private company for five years at a bidding price of PKR 11,100,000 for a year’s payment.

In August, the board will hold a big auction of its beach resort, which will be published in major media. The auction for this purpose was held on September 8 and was won on a monthly rental basis by the hospitality company ‘Dreamworld.’ Manora Beach Resort would have a monthly rent of PKR 925,000. The board has also stated that if the agreement is carried out well, it would be extended.

The formal agreement between the Cantonment Board Manora and the winning bidder will be formalised in a month, according to an official with the authority. Near the Varun Dev Mandir, the property consists of a ground plus two-story building with four tuck shops. In addition, the beach view plot has 1,562 square yards of open space. For the following five years, Dreamworld will refurbish and beautify the resort, as well as maintain it.
