Karachi: Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the city administrator, examined the ancient clock tower on the top of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation building on Tuesday and gave instructions to repair the British-era clock there.
According to the administrator, the KMC building was one of the most magnificent structures built in Karachi before to Pakistan’s independence. “It’s critical to save this historic structure in its original state,” he continued.
Barrister Wahab stated that the KMC will properly safeguard its historical legacy and that all components of the structure, including the clock, would be maintained in good working order.
Meanwhile, he said that the KMC was paying close attention to Nehr-i-Khayyam in Clifton. While touring the canal, he stated that the entire region surrounding Nehr-i-Khayyam will be beautified.
