Sialkot: The Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, Adam Mulawarman Tugio, has urged Sialkot exporters to explore Indonesia’s worldwide trade markets in order to boost bilateral commerce. He told a gathering at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Tuesday that Pakistani companies should focus more on ASEAN countries to improve their exports.

He pledged to make every effort to increase bilateral trade between his country and Pakistan. He stated that the two nations have friendly commercial relations and share many cultural values. He also emphasised the need of people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

Sports goods, surgical instruments, leather products and gloves of all kinds, textile items, sportswear, martial arts uniforms and accessories, musical instruments, kitchenware and tableware, hollowware, hunting knives, table cutlery/flatware, and military uniform badges, he said, could all be exported to Indonesian markets. Earlier, the envoy paid a visit to Sialkot’s key industrial facilities. He was fascinated with the manufacturing of sporting items and medical tools.
