Quetta: According to a news source, Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Mir Jam Kamal Khan lay the foundation stone for the 10-kilometer long Southern Bypass in Hub on Tuesday (August 10).

The CM was in the Lasbela district for a one-day tour to the Hub and Vinder areas. The CM was accompanied by Senator Dinesh Kumar, Provincial Advisor Haji Akbar Askani, and Provincial Minister Abdul Khaliq Hazara.
During his visit, the chief minister was briefed on the bypass project, which is expected to cost PKR 331.563 million and will run from Hub to RCD Road. By 2023, the project should be completed.
CM Kamal addressed the audience at the ceremony, saying that this initiative is critical for Hub City’s industry. He went on to say that the administration was concentrating on social and economic growth in order to help people.

Furthermore, the CM discussed the construction of the Vinder Dam, which will supply water to 10,000 acres of property in the vicinity. He went on to explain that the project will help the region’s economic and social growth.
