Abbottabad: According to media sources, Commissioner Hazara Division Riaz Khan Mehsud remarked on Thursday that Abbottabad’s splendour will be restored when the unlawful structures in the Cantonment Board are removed.
In Abbottabad, an anti-encroachment effort has begun on the commissioner’s orders. Nearly 55 unlawful buildings, 360 walls, and 12 culverts were demolished as part of this anti-encroachment effort. All unlawful structures that hinder the free flow of rainwater will be demolished, according to the commissioner.

Furthermore, the residential complexes near Nullah Jab were badly destroyed during the torrential rains on July 11. Following the destruction caused by the flood, the commissioner notified the media that a thorough plan had been created.
Commissioner Riaz Khan further stated that over 6,000 kiosks had been removed from Kaghan Valley to enhance tourism and the economy in Hazara District.
