Hyderabad: According to press reports, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar welcomed Chinese investors and industrialists to engage in Pakistan’s burgeoning textile industry on Wednesday (December 01). According to him, the government is taking initiatives to foster collaboration and create a win-win situation for both CPEC partners.

He said that the import and export-oriented textile and textile-related sectors are appealing to Chinese investors operating under CPEC at an online conference co-hosted by the CPEC Authority and the China Chamber of Commerce. Khalid Mansoor, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on CPEC Affairs, said the legal framework was being changed to make it easier for investors to launch and operate firms.
