Multan: According to a post uploaded on the Defence Housing Authority Multan (DHA) Facebook page on Wednesday (September 15), a groundbreaking ceremony for Pakistan Square will be held today.

According to the information, the square will have Pakistan’s tallest flag (211 feet/ 64.61 metres), which would be created with the assistance of CTE Pvt Ltd, a renowned Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering Works company. In addition, Pakistan Square will include a variety of national monuments from across the country.

The Pakistan Square will be located at the crossroads of five sectors (Q, T, U, X, and Y) and would connect DHA Multan with Khanewal Interchange on the Faisalabad-Multan Motorway M4 via Shah Ruk-e-Alam Gate (Qadir Pur Ran Bypass) on NH-5.

In June of this year, the Multan DHA administration released an updated Town Plan. The giant square was designed, according to the administration, to give improved investment options and connectivity to the motorway for the convenience of DHA Multan inhabitants.
