Lahore: According to media sources, the Punjab Industrial Estates Development Management Company (PIEDMC) has announced the release of PKR 55 million for grid station building in Bhalwal Industrial Zone and PKR 9.6 million for feeder connection in Chunian Aqua Business Park.

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) would build a 132KV grid station in Bhalwal Industrial Zone, while Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) will give a feeder link at Chunian Aqua Business Park, according to the details shared.
PKR 5.4 million was authorised for consultant services for disposal stations in the Vehari and Rahim Yar Khan industrial zones during the PIEDMC board of directors meeting. In addition, PKR 30 million was allowed for transaction consulting services for the Muzaffargarh Industrial Zone, as well as the renewal of medical insurance and staff transportation contracts.

PIEDMC has generated PKR 12 billion from Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Vehari, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bhalwal Industrial Zones, according to the meeting. Work on development projects in Bahawalpur Industrial Zone and Quaid-e-Azam Business Park has also begun, as has work on a net metering and expansion project in Sundar Estate.
