Kohat: According to reports published on Sunday, the provincial government has sanctioned PKR 380 million for the development of the road that connects Kutcheri Chowk and PAF Square, following the signing of a deal with the army to destroy barracks.

According to the information provided, the road’s expansion will help to alleviate traffic congestion in the city. The road project would be finished in three parts, according to a public relations officer working with Shehryar Afridi, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir. Ample parking will be provided as part of the project to ensure that traffic flow is not disrupted.

Furthermore, the public relations officer indicated that the project cost PKR 80 million in total, with the remaining funds going to the army, market owners, and shops. Some areas of the road were only 15 feet to 18 feet wide, according to Deputy Chief Warden Arab Jan, causing traffic congestion.
