Karachi: According to news released on Wednesday, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) provided figures showing that foreign exchange inflows via Roshan Digital Account (RDA) reached USD 2.114 billion by the end of August.

Since June, inflows have increased significantly, helping to improve the national economy and putting the government in a stronger position to deal with the projected current account deficit in fiscal year 2021-2022. (FY22).

According to the information provided, the Naya Pakistan Certificate contributed USD 1,475 million to the overall inflows. According to SBP data, inflows into the nation were USD 370 million in July 2021 and USD 310 million in June 2021.

It’s worth noting that the RDA was launched in September 2020 and quickly garnered USD 7 million in inflows. Inflows increased by a factor of ten from September to December 2020, hitting USD 250 million.
