Islamabad: The forensic audit of Multi Residencia & Orchards, a project of the Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society, has been decided by the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA).

According to sources, the FIA Corporate Crime Circle in Islamabad wrote a letter to Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Hassanabdal requesting data from Multi Residencia & Orchards.

The FIA Corporate Circle was conducting a subject inquiry into the affairs of the Multi-professional Cooperative Housing Society, Islamabad, in accordance with the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s Forensic Audit of Cooperative Societies decision.

FIA also requested an attested copy of the updated layout plan supplied by the housing society’s management committee for its project, as well as a thorough report on any violations of the authorised LOP discovered, if any.

It’s worth noting that the Supreme Court has ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to undertake a forensic examination of housing societies. The government recently performed an assessment of more than dozens of societies in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, omitting the Multi-professional Cooperative Housing Society’s projects.
