Islamabad: According to news reports, the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) released the results of balloting of residential plots in Sectors F-14 and F-15 on Tuesday (August 17). Among the successful candidates were Pakistan’s Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed, other members of the superior judiciary, and two Special Assistants to the Prime Minister (SAPM).

According to sources, the FGEHA balloted 4,700 plots in Sector F-14 and F-15 in the first round. Judges of the superior and subordinate judiciaries, as well as a few journalists, have been assigned to Category-I, which includes plots measuring one Kanal, according to the FGEHA website.

High-profile officials on the BS-22 and 21 payscales, two former directors general of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) — Ghalib Bandesha and Bashir Memon — a former inspector general of Islamabad, Tahir Alam, Orya Maqbool Jan, the Secretary to Cabinet Division Ahmed Nawaz Sukhera, and a number of other federal secretaries and bureaucrats are among the other ballot winners in Sector F-14 and Sector F-15.
