Islamabad: According to news reports, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ali Ahmed authorised authorities to convert the abandoned restaurant structure in F-9 Park into a history museum on Saturday (November 07).

The non-functional restaurant, which covers a total area of 30,00 sq ft, will be used as a tourist attraction with wall hangings and paintings depicting monuments and history of the capital city. According to reports, during a tour of the city, the chairman asked the administration to restore the lights in the F-9 park, which is popular after sunset.

In addition, the chairman observed the carpeting and road reconstruction progress and requested that the work be hastened and the quality of the work be improved. He stated that the work on the F-11 and G-11 roads must be conducted with care, and that no compromise on work quality will be accepted.
