Various sectors in Balochistan and other parts of the country will be supported for long-term development under the corporation model. Furthermore, the ambassador stated that bilateral trade between the EU and Pakistan has been gradually expanding in recent years and that this trend will continue. According to reports, the EU is concentrating its efforts on sectors that require immediate attention, such as human development.
Pakistan and the EU have also agreed a new strategic engagement plan to enhance the climate condition, according to Ambassador Kaminara. This will help the province’s development and lessen the consequences of the environment on the province’s human development.

It’s worth noting that the EU has extended Pakistan’s Generalised Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) status, and a review for a two-year extension is currently underway. The GSP+ status will be renewed until 2024 after the successful implementation of the EU treaties (there are 27 in all, and Pakistan is a party to all of them).
