Karachi: Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the Karachi Administrator and Advisor to the Sindh Chief Minister on Law, ordered the early completion of development projects in the city on Thursday, according to media reports.

The administrator met with the finance, law, and engineering departments of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC). The administrator emphasised during the discussion that the goal of infrastructure development was to make life easier for people. He urged the engineering department to finish development projects in the period allotted and to give special attention to quality of work. He also stated that emphasis should be given to programmes that would benefit the people the most.

Furthermore, at the discussion with the KMC’s law department, legal issues were reviewed, and officials were urged to prioritise outstanding court cases. Similarly, KMC Administrator Murtaza Wahab instructed the appropriate officials to take efforts to improve the authority’s financial issues during a meeting with the finance department. The Administrator of KMC has pledged to offer services to Karachi residents and restructure KMC.
