Peshawar: According to a post published on the authority’s Facebook page on September 7, the Defence Housing Authority Peshawar (DHA) administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Baraka Bank Ltd to provide house building finance services to members.

The rate for house finance will be 1-year KIBOR + 1.50 percent, according to the specifications. According to reports, the funding maximum would be Rs. 35 million, with a 20-year term.

According to a tweet posted on August 11, DHA Peshawar and Allied Bank Limited signed a selling deal for the building of a branch at DHA Peshawar. In addition, the DHA Peshawar management signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with United Bank Limited (UBL) for comparable house financing arrangements, which included Roshan Digital Account (RDA) users.

The rate for funding was Kibor+1.7 percent per annum, and the financing limit varied from PKR 1 million to Rs. 30 million, according to the data posted on the post on June 23. DHA Peshawar has also inked similar Memorandums of Understanding with other banks, including Bank Al-Habib Limited and Meezan Bank.
