Karachi: According to a post uploaded on the authority’s Facebook page, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi administration issued a cyclone “Gulab” warning to all inhabitants and asked them to protect their building equipment.

According to the information on the post, the administration has asked residents of DHA Karachi who are involved in any type of construction activity to secure construction materials such as boards, bamboos, shuttering, and any other loose items that could cause property or human life damage to secure them.

Residents were also asked to report any damaged or loose billboards, road signs, or signboards in business locations or on roads to the administration. DHA Karachi has established a helpline 1092 to assist people and take fast action.

The administration declared that DHA Emergency Response Teams will be accessible at several sites to assist citizens in another post uploaded on the authority’s Facebook page. Information on relief camps, rain relief and recovery centres, and information centres was also supplied by the authority.
