Karachi: According to a post on the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi’s Facebook page, a poll will be held for 300 plots for townhouses on Tuesday (November 23), and an open house for investors will be held tomorrow (November 25).

The ballot will be held at DHA City Karachi’s Visitor’s Centre from 12 to 2 p.m., according to the details. Investors, developers, and realtors have been invited to the open house, where investors can inspect the houses.
In another move, the DHA Karachi management has offered plot owners a unique construction incentive package to encourage the construction of residences in the DHA Karachi. According to the package’s specifications:

- 100% scholarship will be offered to one child per family at DHA Suffa University for the first 50 families shifted to DHA City (South)
- 100% development charges will be waived on any type of construction that is completed before December 2022.
- Permission will be granted to construct an extra floor on a commercial building whose grey structures will be completed before December 2022 in Commercial Building (C5) and Central Business District (CBD).
- Permission will be granted for the construction of an additional bedroom with a bathroom for houses completed before December 2022.
