Islamabad: According to a Twitter tweet by China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Chairman Lt. Gen. (R) Asim Saleem Bajwa, that the connectivity of the region with the rest of the country will be enhanced under the CPEC initiatives.

With G-B Chief Minister Khurshid, Bajwa addressed the potential of the northern territories and methods to unleash it in line with Prime Minister Imran’s agenda. The two talked on a variety of initiatives related to the CPEC. According to his tweet, the industries that will be targeted for growth have already been selected. Integrated tourism, infrastructure development (including roads and airport facilities), fisheries and agricultural, power, and improved connectivity are among them.

The chairman had earlier posted photos of his talks with local farmers working in agricultural, fisheries, and livestock enterprises in regions near the Khunjrab Bypass in a tweet on the same day, adding that the potential of these industries will be tapped under the CPEC. He further stated that the problems that farmers in these industries confront will be addressed.
