Lahore: According to a recent piece of news, On Thursday, the Cabinet Standing Committee on Finance and Growth approved mega construction projects and gave preliminary approval to convert new schools, universities, and hospitals to solar energy to save energy.
According to the conference, which was chaired by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the transition of new solar energy institutions would result in a 45% reduction in energy consumption. The meeting also gave preliminary approval to the creation of a substance control directorate to oversee cosmetics production and standards, as well as other related concerns. Several hospitals were also authorized for construction and upgrades at the conference.
A total of Rs. 1 billion has been funded for eight Faisalabad highways. This approval comes on the heels of CM Buzdar’s announcement during his visit to Faisalabad that he will complete 22 development projects worth Rs. 14 billion as part of the district development package.
Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht, Industry Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal, Chairman P&D, and secretaries of finance, housing, local governments, special healthcare, and medical education departments, among others, attended the conference.
