Peshawar: According to press reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan ordered that the low-cost Surizai Housing Scheme be implemented in a result-oriented manner on Thursday (October 28).

The concerns impeding the project’s progress were examined at the meeting, and decisions were made to address these issues. Surizai developments cover 8,500 kanals of land and are being created under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme, according to the guests (NPHP).
It was also revealed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Provincial Housing Authority and the Pakistan Housing Authority had previously been inked. 16,000 grey structure units will be built as part of this programme, which will be available to government employees and others.

Furthermore, it was stated that numerous NPHP housing plans had been launched in the province, with development on others currently underway. CM Khan remarked that the administration is aiming to promote the housing and construction sectors in order to provide housing and employment opportunities to citizens in the region.
