Lahore: According to news reports, Punjab’s Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved a roadways restoration program to begin the restoration of the province’s old and neglected roads. By expanding connection and ensuring smooth traffic flow, the program would bring respite to people of cities and villages.

The plan was agreed upon at a meeting called by the chief minister to discuss the province’s budget, road construction, and other development efforts. He also emphasized his commitment to increasing budget openness and accountability, which he claims has already resulted in a 20% boost in provincial revenue.

Minister Buzdar also instructed all provincial departments to complete the projects and provide sufficient cash.
