According to news reports, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar announced a development project worth PKR 25 billion during a visit to the districts of Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, and Hafizabad on Wednesday.

According to the official statement, the CM announced projects worth PKR 8.41 billion in Gujranwala, including a flyover at Alam Chowk and internal and external connecting roads throughout the city. A road project to connect Gujranwala with the Sialkot-Lahore Motorway via Eminabad Mor is also in the works.

CM Buzdar announced a development package worth over PKR 10 billion in Shiekhupura, as well as initiating a tree-planting campaign at the Sheikhupura Gymkhana. He also laid the foundation stone for a water supply and drainage scheme that was worth PKR 410 million. He also officiated at the opening of the Manawala-Sucha Sauda Road, which is being built for the promotion of tourism at a cost of PKR 640 million.

Likewise, the chief minister declared a PKR 7.2 billion uplift package for the district of Hafizabad. He also claimed that at a cost of PKR 3.98 billion, the Hafizabad-Sukheki road, Chowk Sukheki-Jalalpur Bhattian road, and Kot Hara-Jallalpur Bhattian road will be rehabilitated and enhanced.

In addition, the CM announced a number of other projects in the health district related to education, health, and road infrastructure.
