Peshawar: The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has finalized its six-month road map for the provincial capital’s ongoing mega-development projects.
The authority has formulated an action plan to ensure progress on development projects that includes various activities. According to an official statement released on Sunday, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan presided over a meeting where the provincial capital’s new action plan was addressed.
He directed the relevant authorities to take all possible measures to ensure that Peshawar’s PDA-funded development projects are completed on time. According to the schedule, work on the new general bus station will begin in May, followed by the remainder of Ring Road’s northern loop in July.
Similarly, improving the south section of Ring Road is set to begin in June, with the construction of a detour road set to begin the following month. Besides, the city has a host of schemes in the works, including beautifying the BRT corridor, lighting green belts and parks in Hayatabad, and beautifying canals and plantation on G.T Road, Ring Road, and Jamrud Road.
