Mansehra: Mahmood Khan, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stated on Thursday that he had never received bribes or commissions for awarding development contracts. He also stated that he will not tolerate corruption in government agencies.
The chief minister was speaking at a public meeting in Judbah, Torghar district’s district headquarters, where he unveiled development projects worth Rs270 million and offered Rs300 million in financing for further projects in the area.
Mr Mahmood stated that his government was working to bring the province’s undeveloped areas up to par with the developed ones.
“Because our party (PTI) promised equal development in urban and rural areas, my government started huge development projects throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he explained.

The chief minister blamed rising prices on previous governments’ massive borrowing and claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government was repaying the loans.
“As more and more foreign loans were obtained, our economy was decimated, so it is not a possibility for us (the PTI government),” he remarked.
