The chief minister has directed the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to make the PKR 15 billion Elevated Expressway finance model a top priority. The elevated expressway will run from Gulberg to the Babu Sabo junction, connecting Canal Bank Road, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Multan Road, and Band Road.

The plan aims to alleviate traffic congestion by 65 percent on Lahore’s congested roads. LDA was also entrusted with renovating Sagian Road and completing the project within the current fiscal year.
