According to the details, China Pakistan Trade Online was launched in March of this year; however, due to the vast quantity of products available, merchants have not posted many products on the platform. Director Cheng Kai of the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce in Pakistan’s Science and Technology Innovation Committee revealed that the Chamber was assisting member companies in uploading product information and corporate information on the website.

It’s worth noting that the Chamber of Commerce has noted issues in bilateral trade. According to the director, there is a lack of trust between Pakistani and Chinese businesses. He went on to remark that the things supplied aren’t always the same as what was shown in the beginning.

Both countries have limited information about the products, according to Li Hongwu, President of the Pakistan Sichuan Chamber of Commerce.

To address these issues, a platform for sharing information was created, similar to Taobao. It was also a payment mechanism, similar to Alipay, where money was transferred to the seller once users confirmed their purchases.
