Lahore: According to press reports, Abdul Razak Dawood, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Commerce and Investment, said on Saturday (August 7) that the federal government will provide all possible assistance to Punjab for the colonization of industrial estates.
Advisor Dawood met with Punjab Minister of Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal to discuss the establishment of industrial estates and an expo center in Sialkot, an income tax refund for the Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMCconstruction )’s of an interchange on the motorway to connect Quaid-Azam Business Park in Sheikhupura, and colonialism.
Dawood and Iqbal co-chaired the meeting, which took place in the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) office. Members of the meeting also agreed to impose fines on individuals who have not yet established their businesses on the assigned land within the given time frame.
In addition, the Federal Board of Investment (FBI) and the Punjab Board of Investment (PBI) have agreed to establish a combined one-stop shop to address investor issues. Minister Aslam believes that an expo center should be established at each divisional headquarters.
