Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to grant 3,000 allottees in Sector I-15 possession of their residential plots in the third week of this month. The CDA Chairman, Aamir Ali Ahmed, convened a meeting on Friday to evaluate development activities in the sector, and it was agreed that plots in Sector I-15/1 and I-15/3 would be handed over in the third week of this month.

Member Engineering informed the conference that development work in Sectors I-15/1 and I-15/3 was nearing completion, and that plots in these two sub-sectors might be taken possession of in two to three weeks.

Plots in Sector I-15 were granted in 2005, but development activities was halted for a variety of reasons, according to the meeting.

It was recently agreed to complete the development work in two sub-sectors over the course of 18 months. “The development work was prioritised, and it is expected to be finished in 12 months,” stated Member Engineering. Tenders for development work in Sector I-15/2 will be released soon, according to the meeting.
