After the Enforcement Directorate enquired about the mushroom development of kilns in the H-16 and H-17 sectors, the kiln ban was implemented. Revenue officers conducted inspections and surveys after that.

The owners of the brick kilns, on the other hand, were granted a petition hearing by the Islamabad High Court (IHC). The most recent ruling follows a hearing with the complaint and CDA officials, who determined that the kilns in question are illegal and must be dismantled.

It’s worth noting that CDA bought Sectors H-16 and H-17 in 2008, but it doesn’t fully own the land because the dues haven’t been paid in time to start the construction process.
