Islamabad: According to news reports, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amir Ali Ahmed has requested that the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover be completed by October 31, rather than December 30, 2021, as previously agreed.
To meet the deadline, the chairman directed that the work be done in double shifts during the day and night. In addition, the chairman paid a surprise visit to the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover construction site to inspect the quality of the work and inquire about progress.
The city traffic police, on the other hand, have prepared an alternate traffic plan for the construction period, which ends on October 31, to let inhabitants get around the city more easily.
