Islamabad: According to a news report published on August 16, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board approved the bids received for 22 of the 24 commercial plots auctioned on August 4.
The CDA Headquarters hosted the 8th board meeting, which was headed by CDA Chairman Amir Ali. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Iftikhar Hassan Arif, Nayyar Ali Dada, and Ali Asghar Khan were among the board members who attended the meeting. The highest proposals for two commercial plots were turned down during the meeting because they were lower than the authority’s expectations.
During the meeting, it was also determined that the Islamabad bus service project, which will begin with 20 buses on three different routes, would begin soon. The project will be sponsored by CDA at first and afterward, it will be taken over by a commercial business.
Apart from city development projects and ensuring inhabitants receive quality services, it was decided to prepare PC-2 for the smart city during the following six months. The decision made at the sixth and seventh meetings was likewise approved at this meeting.
