Tehsildar Yasir Shah of the CDA and his team listened to locals’ concerns before taking possession of the ground. He said that CDA had bought the land in the 1970s and that all those who had been injured had been compensated.
During the meeting, it was discovered that one person was not given a plot against his built-up land, and he was asked by CDA officials to come to the authority’s offices to have his case processed.

A CDA officer said, “Out of 50 acres, only one claim of a single plot means nothing, we will look into this case and if there is any delay on our part we will immediately pay due compensation to this person,”
The authority recently approved a PC-1 for the project worth Rs15 billion. The project will be completed in three years, according to CDA officials, and 4,000 apartments will be built in three groups.
In the first group, 1,560 apartments will be built and auctioned off to raise funds for the project. The NPHDA will provide 2,000 apartments to low-income people in the second group, while 400 apartments will be given to those living in slums.
