Quetta: According to news reports, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has proposed the creation of an interest-free credit initiative for small enterprises in the province in order to promote the economy and decrease poverty. The aforementioned lending plan is one of the projects announced for the upcoming fiscal year’s budget (FY2021-2022).

Small enterprises will receive PKR 2 billion under this interest-free financing plan, while province food security will receive PKR 1 billion.

Furthermore, CM Alyani stated that the government will support the project that directly benefits the people. He also stated that the Government Employees Housing Fund will receive PKR 3 billion, the Balochistan Enterprise Development Fund will receive PKR 2 billion, and the Support Fund for Persons with Disabilities will receive PKR 2 billion.

In an interview with the media, he stated that the government’s programs are intended to assist the general public and boost the province’s development. He agreed that provincial healthcare facilities are inadequate and require immediate attention; as a result, the administration has chosen two secretaries to oversee the situation and expedite work on the health card plan.
