Investors and consultants had a variety of questions, including how to open a branch office, how to invest in special economic zones, how to obtain business visas, and how to invest in priority areas, among other things.

The majority of the questions presented during the session were swiftly answered by the Secretary and BOI Officers. Concerning difficulties involving other departments, Fareena promised that they would be communicated to the appropriate parties as soon as possible, and that a follow-up process would be devised to ensure efficient resolution.

The seminar lasted two hours and was a great success in terms of public outreach. Ms. Fareena invited investors to share their project proposals and views with the Board of Investment (BOI) for future cooperation on important issues, speaking to key audiences via zoom and phone.
