The board observed that the airport’s well-timed operation would demonstrate conducive for effective operationalizing of Gwadar deep seaport and suggested its expeditious completion and avoiding delay caused either by Pakistan or the Chinese side. Institutional efforts should be made to take up the issue with the Chinese side to meet the project’s timelines.

The commission commended that the difficulties faced by local fishermen in Gwadar should be determined at the earliest. It also proposed that the purification water plant’s work should be expedited, and the projects’ timelines must be met. It also recommended that a special session of the committee be assembled with all investors to help carry out the distillation plant’s execution.
