Gwadar: According to news reports, Acting Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri remarked on Thursday that the socio-economic growth of Balochistan is intertwined with Gwadar Port. He also stated that the province’s residents will profit from the early completion of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.

The acting speaker also told the crowd at Parliament House that the current fiscal budget is being created for the people’s welfare and that considerable funds have been put aside for the province’s growth.

He also remarked that Balochistan’s success and development will be seen as the country’s progress and development. The provincial government’s measures will contribute to the region’s long-term growth. The administration of Balochistan, according to Governor Agha, is devoted to bringing good improvements to the province.

Officials from the National Highways Authority (NHA) briefed the chairman on the province’s ongoing projects. The details provided are as follows:

  • On August 10, 103 km long Naukandi-Mashkhel Road will be inaugurated by Mr. Sadiq
  • Construction of Ziarat-BalaNosh to Dalbandin highway is to start in October.

Trees should also be planted on both sides of the highway, according to the chairman. He further stated that the highway network will change the fate of Balochistan, as it is a significant province.
