Peshawar: According to press reports, Peshawar Division Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud held a meeting on Monday that agreed to begin a large anti-encroachment operation in the city to ensure the effective implementation of the Peshawar Revival Plan.

The commissioner was informed on the efforts taken to implement the Peshawar Revival Plan during the meeting. The conference also resolved on a large-scale anti-encroachment operation that will be carried out by all relevant departments at the same time.

Additional The focal point has been assigned as Deputy Commissioner Gul Bano, and the Revenue Department has been directed to undertake a survey to identify encroached state land and submit a report within a week. The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), town administrations, and district administrations have also been ordered to continue the operation in areas where unlawfully inhabited properties have previously been discovered.
