Peshawar: The Peshawar Revival Plan will kick off a huge anti-encroachment campaign in the capital city. On Monday, Peshawar division commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud presided over a meeting in which this decision was taken.

The meeting was attended by MPA Asif Khan, director general of the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA), Ammara Khan, additional deputy commissioner of Peshawar, Shama Niamat, SSP traffic Fazal Ahmad Jan, DG railways Samiullah Khan, the director of the Environment Protection Agency, and officers from other departments.
A thorough briefing on the actions done so far to implement the Peshawar Revival Plan was delivered to the divisional commissioner.

Town-I administration was directed to conduct operations in the interior city, Town-II on Charsadda Road, Town-III on University Road, and Town-IV on Kohat Road, while Pakistan Railways was directed to conduct anti-encroachment operations on both sides of the railway track from Hashtnagri to Firdous and from Nauthia to Hayatabad, according to the plan. PDA was also entrusted with starting the campaign in the Hayatabad and Karkhano markets.
