Karachi: According to news released on Wednesday, the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) requested Governor Sindh Imran Ismail to establish a one-window operation for the issue of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for real estate developments in Karachi on Tuesday (November 30).

Following the Supreme Court’s decision to demolish private projects, ABAD is looking for a plan to bring illegal structures in Sindh into compliance. Chairman of ABAD Mohsin Sheikhani led a group to meet with the governor to discuss challenges facing the building industry.
It was discussed at the conference that, like Punjab, Sindh should establish a regularisation commission for housing and construction projects.

The chairman of the ABAD demanded a single-window operation for NOC, which would benefit real estate developers and potential buyers. Furthermore, the ABAD delegation stated a want to meet with Prime Minister Imran Khan to address construction-related issues.
